AC - Pulse D/Strike EURO STD (PTL) w/o FacePLT

Unique low power EURO door strike mechanism allows months of standby time
(open or locked) from a battery backup

Ringdales EURO Pulse Operated Door Strike provides economical use of electrical power. It operates with a pulse of just 0.1 seconds (100 milliseconds) to change from a locked to an unlocked position, or vice versa. It does not require permanent power to keep open or locked (in similar mechanisms this operation can take up to 10 watts).

The Door Strike is universally compatible with any other access control device. A selection of faceplates is also available to fit Ringdales EURO Door Strike (faceplates sold seperately).

Based on user specifications, Ringdales Door Strike is provided either to fail open (power to lock) or fail locked (power to open).

In the event of power failure, Ringdales Door Strike continues operation with a battery or an uninterruptable power supply, such as Ringdales optional Network Access Controller, a 12volt power supply with 17Ah battery back-up.

Ringdales Card Readers are controlled from a central software program over a 10/100base Ethernet network. In the event of a fire alarm, this software enables all doors for immediate access.

To use the Door Strike in conjunction with Ringdales Proximity Card Readers and Controllers, users simply wave an ID card (with a unique built-in code) in front of the reader unit. The event is logged and the door will unlock if the user has been granted access.
