The ActiveLED® Explorer Energy Monitor allows for the monitoring and reporting of a building’s electricity usage in real time via Ethernet or a browser enabled smart phone, tablet or desktop computer as well as being used as a sub-meter
Colorful graphs and reports allow the user to explore ways to better manage their energy usage and thereby find ways to save money on their electricity bill.
The Explorer Energy Monitor can also send user defined e-mail alarms that alert the user of power failures, brown-outs and over voltage events when connected to wired Ethernet.
The Explorer Energy Monitor is available in both commercial (3 phase) and residential (2 phase and anti phase) versions.
ActiveLED® Explorer Energy Monitor Current Transformers
The ActiveLED® Explorer Energy Monitor Pro accepts current transformers from 10A to 1500A which can be purchased separately. Supplied with the unit are 2 (US Home) or 3 (Professional) current transformer* rated at 150A - 333mV that can be used in applications not exceeding 300A.
The device connects directly to a 480-V 3 phase supply, 3 individual single phases, or a 240-V(2 x 120-V Anti-phase) feed. When installing always adhere to local electrical, fire and safety codes.
