Sentinel Network Access Controller suitable for driving up to two bolts or strike mechanisms and two cards or fingerprint readers


Ringdale’s Sentinel Network Access Controllers combine a power supply and battery charger, space for one lead acid battery (up to 18Ah), as well as a networkable access controller, which can be connected to a number of recognition devices (i.e., Proximity/Swipe card and Fingerprint readers). They can also drive a number of locking devices such as door strikes or electronic bolts for high security applications.

This model of Sentinel Network Access Controller is suitable for driving up to two bolts or two strike mechanisms and up to two recognition devices.

Acting as an Uninterruptable Power Supply, the Sentinel Network Access Controller is fit for use in any networked application, requiring long continuous operation in the event of power failure. In normal operation, the battery is trickle charged via a built-in mains transformer to provide for extra redundancy, feeding power to the built-in Controller. During a power outage, the battery continues supplying power.

Please note a battery is not included.

The Sentinel Network Access Controller can be used with Ringdale’s range of Recognition Devices and Door Strikes or Security Bolts requiring very little power to operate and vastly extending operating time available during a power failure to many times that of conventional systems.

Ringdale also offers a range of compatible readers, including standard ISO Proximity/Swipe cards, Keypads, Barcodes, Fingerprint and Wiegand Protocol readers.
