Internet Printing System Plus
Harnessing the Internet for World Wide Printing Power
Ringdales unrivalled Internet Printing System (IPS) can be used with any Windows 95/98 or Windows NT application and can be directed or re-directed to any printer shared on the network. Once installed, an icon is displayed on the taskbar, clicking on this, reveals a user friendly menu. Through utilising the Internet, IPS can offer high speed printing solutions to users. It can identify the status of a printer and produce premium quality printouts reducing the need to send hard copies by fax. Ringdales IPS also uses the current Windows 95/98 printer drivers and can be configured through its own menu system which sits on the taskbar. Network print jobs can be directed to any output port on a users PC (LPT1, COM1, etc.), even if the attached printer is not shared on the network. The Personal Printer Service gives users the additional ability to print to any personal, parallel or serial printer attached to a PC that has an IP address. Print to a network printer from a DOS package by re-directing LPT1/COM1 to an IP address. Easy set-up via the user friendly drop-down menu.
