Valve regulated rechargeable battery providing backup power for 12 Amp hours.

Lead-acid batteries differ from standard wet lead-acid batteries in that they do not require charging up with de-ionized water. Designed for stand-by use in mains power supply systems, the battery is constantly trickle charged by the Access Controller's transformers until power is needed.
