Valve regulated rechargeable battery, providing back up power for 18 Amp hours.

Lead-acid batteries differ from standard wet lead-acid batteries in that they require no topping up with de-ionised water. Designed for stand-by use in mains power supply systems, this battery is constantly trickle charged by the Access Controllers transformers until power is needed.
