NetAudio Player
Fast 10/100baseTX, reliable and cost effective network audio player NEW FEATURES
Ringdale's NetAudio Player enables up to 5, 55 or 120 minutes of digital sound, voice or music to be downloaded from a local area network or via the Internet. The device provides a simple solution for organizations that deploy and manage audio messages for on-hold call-center queues or retail audiences.
NEW - The NetAudio® Player gets its time from a Time Server and will automatically pick up new sound files from an FTP server thereby, allowing many units to be automatically synchronized. A change to a single point FTP Server updates all devices.
This very low power consuming (3 watts) compact device has the ability to play audio via an audio output, which may be connected directly to a speaker or any other audio system with a 600 ohm, 5 Vpp input such as telephone systems, P.A. systems, etc.
The device can reliably auto-repeat a recording or be programmed to select eight different stored recordings (music or speech), not exceeding five minutes in total. The user specifies any sequence of samples to be played in a particular order and also determines the delay between samples.
Unlike CD players, the NetAudio Player has many advantages. It never fails (as there are no moving parts in the unit), and it cannot collect dust inside its’ mechanism. Sound tracks are stored in digital format on its failsafe, non-volatile memory. NetAudio Player will power up automatically after a mains failure.
The NetAudio Player may be configured through PeripheralVision, Ringdale's leading network management software.
