PeripheralVision® is Ringdales ultimate graphical network management utility which allows networks to be mapped out on local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and across the Internet.
It discovers devices with SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) or NPMPTM (Network Peripheral Management Protocol), maps them together and displays a clear visual representation of a network with icons indicating current status.
Ringdales Printservers, Hubs, DHCP Servers and Routers can be managed from within PeripheralVision®. This unique management utility boasts an ever-increasing list of functions and options including error logging, accounting and graphical analysis from within the program.
PeripheralVision® allows the user to "PING" virtually every device on the network, status icons display features such as, Web Server and Telnet (a right click will open these services). Each device can be assigned a value and serial number for accurate accounts management. Network events can be stored as log files or highlighted as audible alarms. Feedback is given to users, not only through voice alerts on the local machine but also by sending e-mail or issuing a pager alert.
Designed to increase user understanding and control of a network, Ringdales PeripheralVision® is an easy to use and inexpensive network management tool.
