10baseFL Printserver for most* Hewlett Packard EIO printers on Fibre networks

Ringdale's EIO 10baseFL (Fibre Optic) Printserver allows users to connect directly to a 10baseFL secure fibre network and is compatible with all popular operating systems and communications protocols.

The FL Printerserver has been designed to provide concurrent support for Novell, UNIX LANManager and LANServer, Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups, DEC and Apple EtherTalk. Automatic support is given to Ethernet II, 802.2, 802.3 and SNAP frame types.

It's management is unrivalled ensuring quick and easy installation onto any network environment. The user simply has to use the Web Browser to adjust its parameters.

Convenient setup of IP and subnet mask from the front panel of the printer.

In Novell the interface can be set up as a Remote Printer or Printserver and operates with versions 3.xx and 4.xx, with encrypted passwords and NDS support. The printer management software provided allows easy installation from any local workstation on the network. The Printserver utility program is supplied in DOS, Windows, Macintosh and UNIX formats.

The HP EIO Printserver can be managed by PeripheralVision, Ringdale's leading network management software solution, over any TCP/IP network and over the Internet. The device is also supported by HP-OpenView.

* HP 2100 and 2250 printers are not supported by this device.
