Megaswitch FL

The Fibre Switch is a high security, high capacity Switching Hub

Ringdale’s FL Switch is a switching Hub with 8 x 10baseFL ports and 3 x 10/100 ports (the third 10/100 ports enables connection to further hubs). The Hub uses an automatic self-learning method to enhance switching performance. As each workstation is connected, the node address is remembered and a tailored MAC address table is built. The Fibre Switch is able to route data packets directly from port-to-port with maximum security preventing any congestion.

Ringdale's Fibre Switch module enables the user to upgrade their existing fibre networks and connect local workgroups to a Fast Ethernet backbone.

This Fibre Switching Hub has been specifically designed to save space in a 19-inch rack and its low power consumption reduces cooling requirements.

Apart from advanced settings, there is no software to load or configure, ensuring simple, trouble-free installation and operation.
