Ringdale's ModuLAN Analogue Router inexpensively connects users on a 10Mbits per second LAN to an Internet Service Provider.
Targeted at the SOHO market, the device satisfies the needs of small and medium sized companies. The Analogue Router provides high-speed Internet connection without the cost of adding an ISDN line.
The ModuLAN Analogue Router is well suited for the large family network. The unit is suitable for a home with multiple PCs for access to the Internet.
The stand-alone unit connects to an existing network via its RJ-45 connector and is configured and managed using PeripheralVision, Ringdale's leading network management software tool.
As standard, the product is shipped with a 56K modem for WAN or Internet connection, allowing the type of Internet access speed to be chosen. This provides maximum flexibility for the user, where connection to information can be made from any location, anywhere in the world. The single IP address translation feature allows the LAN to connect to the Internet using a single, dynamically or statically allocated IP address.
PeripheralVision software comes licenced for 30 days, after which time a full licence can be purchased to continue access to all the facilities of the program. This does not affect the ability to use PeripheralVision to configure the Analogue Router. The facility remains operational whether the software is licenced or not.
