Ringdale's Fingerprint Reader is a compact reader unit designed to give a higher degree of security for printing than conventional systems. The reader is compatible with Ringdale’s E-Line FollowMe Printing controllers.

Using the latest optical sensor technology, Fingerprint Reader authentication relies upon a fingerprint’s unique, non-transferrable, physical characteristics to provide one of the highest levels of security available today. The simple touch of a fingertip on the optical sensor will release print jobs for an authorized user.

This system reduces initial outlay costs, eliminating the need to issue cards to every user.

The system works by decoding an individual’s fingerprint information into a unique code and does not store a user’s fingerprint image.
