Ringdale's marine application ActiveLED™ Lighting for street, pathway, parking lot and marina usage is a breakthrough technology that combines design, application and rugged durability that is impervious to salt water and coastal weather conditions. Ringdale's innovative solution reduces energy consumption between 50-85% by replacing 400 Watt conventional street, pathway, parking lot and marina fixtures.
With Ringdale's Marine ActiveLED Lighting, you not only get more light but also a brighter light for less wattage consumption. The patented design emits a bright "white" light, which immediately improves light quality and reduces glare. It also enables control over the light "footprint" to produce directional light, which minimizes light pollution and wasted energy.
The Marine ActiveLED Lighting fixtures are fully enclosed and have been designed specifically to be impervious to harsh marine applications, including salt water, torrential rain and high winds.
The Marine ActiveLED Lighting fixtures are very easy to install as new or retrofit. The only maintenance required is the cleaning of the diffuser (equivalent to the cleaning of conventional street lights) at an approximate cost of US$ 5.25 annual cost per light.
To further reduce energy consumption, Ringdale ActiveLED™ Lighting can be supplied with optional Energy Management Sensors, such as a Daylight Sensor and a Motion Sensor.

ActiveLED™ Technology
Ringdale uses the latest in energy efficient LEDs and LED Modules producing equal or greater light output than state-of-the-art fluorescent light emitters. Our electronics monitor current and temperature of the substrate to assure maximum performance under the prevailing environmental conditions and a Lumen Lifetime of 90,000 hours (95% Luminous Flux).
Diffuser Technology
We use state-of-the-art diffuser technology with a minimal amount of light loss within the fixture providing for maximum lighting efficiency.
ActiveLED™ Light Pattern Options
The Ringdale ActiveLED Street Lights are available in either Traditional or Wide light pattern configurations.
The Traditional Pattern, mounted at 20 feet high, projects light 3-4 feet behind the pole and has an illumination pattern on the street-side in an arc of about 30 feet.
The Wide Pattern has a broad uniform light coverage. Mounted at 20 feet high, it has a very precise 1-2 foot curb-side cut-off with very little light projected behind the curb line. It has an illumination pattern on the street-side in an arc of about 40-50 feet on each side of the curb line extending to 60 feet perpendicular at 90 degrees from the curb line on the street side.
