The Ringdale SIP Desktop Phones have been carefully selected to compliment the functionality of the Ringdale IP-PBX Appliance.
These phones are feature-rich and easy to use in a sophisticated design.


To make deployment as easy and cost-effective as possible, the Ringdale SIP phones connect to the Ringdale IP-PBX Appliance via standard RJ45 UTP Cat5/Cat6 cabling (Ethernet LAN cabling), so any existing Ethernet wiring infrastructure can be used to cable the telephone network.

These phones are standards-based, employing SIP technology to connect to the PBX Appliance (Voice over IP), providing high-quality and cost-effective voice communications.

The Ringdale SIP phones include a back-lit graphic LCD display (130 x 64 pixels) to crisply display user, system and call information.

The phones have an easy-to-use setup menu, with system-critical configuration parameters managed from a PC via the built-in web page and intuitive graphical user interface.

Device Management includes a NAT-friendly remote software upgrade (via TFTP/HTTP) for deployed devices, including behind firewall / NAT Auto /manual provisioning system, GUI Interface Support Layer 2 (802.1Q, VLAN, 802.1p) and Layer 3 QoS (ToS, DiffServ, MPLS).

Firmware Upgrades are easy and intuitive via TFTP or HTTP. Support for Authenticating configuration file before accepting changes. User specific URL for configuration file and firmware files.

An advanced set of Audio Features are supported, including:
Full-duplex hands-free speakerphone, headset enabled.
Advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
Dynamic negotiation of codec and voice payload length.
Support for G.723,1 (5.3/6.3K), G.729A/B, G.711 a/ì-law, G.726-32, G.722 (wideband), GSM and iLBC codecs.
Silence Suppression, VAD (voice activity detection), CNG (comfort noise generation), ANG (automatic gain control).
Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) with Acoustic Gain Control (AGC) for speakerphone mode, Support side tone.
Adaptive jitter buffer control (patent-pending) and packet delay & loss concealment.
