This unit allows users to connect any parallel printer to an Ethernet Local Area Network via its 10baseT and 10base2 connections.
The In-Line supports all popular network operating systems and protocols, including Novell NDS for Netware 4.1 systems.
The In-Line unit concurrently supports six different protocols and five different platforms, such as Novell, OS/2 LANManager and LANServer, Apple Mac, DEC-LAT, UNIX, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups and Windows 95, as well as several PC pased peer-to-peer printing systems in its standard form. This enables the LAN system to send prints from anywhere on the network to the printer or plotter.
The unit is supplied with a comprehensive printer management software utility, supporting SNMP and NPMP standards.
