Ringdales 10baseFL Printserver allows the user to connect to any FS series printer directly to a 10baseFL secure Fibre network. It has been developed to suit the new operation of Kyocera printers including the FS600, 680, 800, 1200, 1700+, 1750, 3700+, 3750, FS7000+, FS9000, FS6900 and other UIO printers.

The Kyocera FL Printserver provides a quick and easy installation, supporting all popular network operating systems and protocols. A concurrent operating platform is given to Novell, UNIX, OS/2 LANManager and LANServer, Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups and DEC.

In Novell the interface can be set up as a Remote Printer or Printserver and operates with versions 3.xx and 4.xx with encrypted password and NDS support. In this environment the printer management software allows easy installation from any local workstation onto the network. The Printserver utility program is supplied in DOS, Windows and UNIX formats.

Ringdales Kyocera 10baseFL Printserver has automatic support for Ethernet II, 802.2, 802.3 and SNAP.

This Ethernet Printserver can also be managed by PeripheralVision, Ringdales unrivalled network management software solution, over any TCP/IP network and over the Internet. This software enables mapping of complete network configuration for a wide range of multi-platform operating systems supporting TCP/IP.
