Converter - USB Type-A Connector to Serial RS232 DB9 Interface
This Converter is ideal for adding a Serial RS232 communications port to a PC or Laptop by converting a standard USB Type-A port into a DB9 Comms port.
If the need is to add a Serial RS232 Comms port to a PC or Laptop where there is an existing USB port, this Converter is ideal for that purpose. In this way, files can now be sent over the Serial RS232 port of the converter, or even applications such as HyperTerminal can be executed using this serial comms port.
Included with this device is a CD containing the drivers that convert the USB Type-A port into a bi-directional Serial RS232 Comms port. The drivers also enable the transferring of files, as well as enabling ASCII applications such as HyperTerminal to communicate over the Comms port.
