A Fast, 10/100baseTX version of Ringdale’s popular RP21 In-Line Printserver - Compatible with IPS-C
Ringdale’s Fast In-Line is a multiprotocol, 10baseT/100baseTX version the company's most established Ethernet Printserver.
This unit allows users to connect any parallel printer to an Ethernet Local Area Network. The RJ-45 connection autosenses either a 10baseT or 10baseTX network connection, ensuring that user investment is fully protected during network migration to 100baseTX.
The 10/100baseTX Fast In-Line supports all popular network operating systems and protocols, including Novell NDS for Netware 4.1 systems.
The Fast In-Line unit concurrently supports six different protocols and five different platforms, such as Novell, OS/2, Apple Mac, DEC-LAT, UNIX, Windows 95, 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT, as well as several PC based peer-to-peer printing systems in its standard form. This enables the LAN system to send prints from anywhere on the network to the printer or plotter.
The Fast In-Line can be used with IPS-C software, allowing large files such as colour documents or graphics to be compressed and transmitted across a Network or the Internet.
The unit is supplied with a comprehensive printer management software utility, supporting SNMP and NPMPTM standards. The unit can also be managed by PeripheralVision®, Ringdale’s leading network management solution, over any TCP/IP network and over the Internet.
