Kyocera 10baseT/10base2 Print Server

10baseT/10base2 Ethernet Printserver solution for FS1550, FS1600, 1700, 3600 and similar printers

This Ethernet Printserver has been designed for the original range of Kyocera printers and provides a simple connection between the user's printer and a 10baseT or 10base2 network.

Users changing from a 10base2 to a 10baseT network can do so without the need to change cards.

All popular operating systems and protocols are supported by this Printserver. A concurrent platform is given to Novell, UNIX, OS/2 LANManager and LANServer, Windows '95/'98, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups, DEC and Apple EtherTalk. This Printserver also has automatic support for Ethernet II, 802.2, 802.3 and SNAP.

In Novell the interface can be set up as a Remote Printer or Printserver and operates with version 3.xx and 4.xx with encrypted passwords and NDS support. In this environment the printer management software supplied allows easy installation from any local workstation onto the network. The Printserver utility program is supplied in DOS, Windows, Apple Mac and UNIX formats.

This Ethernet Printserver can also be managed by PeripheralVision, Ringdale's unrivalled network management software solution, over the Internet. This software enables mapping of complete network configuration for a wide range of multi-platform operating systems supporting TCP/IP.
