Epson 10baseT/100baseTX Print Server

The Fast Ethernet 10/100 Printserver is designed to fit inside any Epson printer with a type B interface, it provides a simple and efficient connection to an Ethernet or Fast Ethernet network.

Automatic detection of Ethernet II, 802.3, SNAP and 802.2 frame types means the Epson printer will work with any current Novell 2.xx, 3.xx or 4.xx in Bindery or NDS, OS/2 LANManager and LANServer, UNIX TCP/IP based systems, Windows NT or Apple Mac environments.

This Fast Ethernet Printserver features a unique switching capability. The RJ-45 connection auto-senses either a 10baseT or 100baseTX network connection, ensuring that user investment is fully protected during network migration to 100baseTX.

All interfaces are supplied with Printset, Ringdales unrivalled printer management software utility, which allows remote access of network printing status and configuration. It also supports SNMP and NPMP.

Ringdales 10/100base Printserver for Epson printers can be managed by PeripheralVision, Ringdales leading network management software solution, over any TCP/IP network and over the Internet. This software enables mapping of complete network configuration for a wide range of multi-platform operating systems supporting TCP/IP.
