10/100baseTX Code Inserter - Ethernet In-Line Printserver
Ringdale’s Code Inserter is a multiprotocol In-Line Print Server connecting to Ethernet 10baseT/100baseTX networks. The platform is based on the company's most established Ethernet Printserver line.
The Fast In-Line can be used with a Barcode Firmware module or a Forms Overlay module, allowing the insertion of Barcodes into the print stream based on commands inserted in the body of the print document.
The device can connect any parallel printer to an Ethernet Local Area Network. The RJ-45 connection autosenses either a 10baseT or 100baseTX network connection.
The 10/100baseTX Fast In-Line supports all popular network operating systems and protocols, including TCP/IP systems.
The Fast In-Line unit concurrently supports six different protocols and five different platforms, such as Novell, OS/2, Apple Mac, UNIX LPR, Windows 9x, Windows 2000, Windows NT DLC, as well as several PC based peer-to-peer printing systems in its standard form. This enables the LAN system to send prints from anywhere on the network to the printer or plotter.
The unit is supplied with a comprehensive printer management software utility Printset 2000, supporting the NPMP(TM) standards.
