Ringdale® has been supplying network enhancing connectivity products to clients for three decades. We are part of the Network Technology PLC Group and currently maintain sales and support offices in the US, UK, Germany, and Japan. Our technology products are sold using established distribution channels throughout the world.

Our commitment to product excellence enables us to uphold a presence in the forefront of network technology. We continually design and develop new products and have achieved several milestones with a number of new product releases.

Technologically the most remarkable of our products is the Face and Fingerprint Recognition hardware and software, a significant addition to the expanding range of Access Control devices currently available. This technology was developed in response to the market’s increased demand for higher levels of door entry security. The World-Leading technology of our FollowMe Printing products provide confidentiality and accounting to sensitive documents for numerous firms globally.

Other developments made within the access control product group include new style proximity readers, ANSI door strikes, keypads for entering Personal Identification Number codes and the Duplo Networked Access Controller.

With the level of interest growing for Ringdale’s new product ranges, new strategic partnerships have been created, notably for FollowMe Printing and the Ethernet to Token Ring Bridge with Ringdale as a third party solutions provider for various companies including Hewlett Packard®, Sharp®, Xerox® and Konica Minolta®.

Summary of Ringdale Product Releases 2008/2009
  • Unique Email / Fax Sender Apppliance allows the connection of industrie standard USB scanners from Xerox, Visioneer, HP and Fujitsu to be used as Network Scanners and send emails dirctly from the device. Through the use of a PCMCIA Modem card a fax can be sent directly from the device without the use of a PC.

  • PLC-1608, network attached Programmable Logic Controller. Applications are enormous such as in the replacement of older TTL controllers in varied equipment.

  • An extensive range of USB operated Relays is available from Ringdale. From a single pole switchover relay (1 Amp at 240 Volts AC), a single pole switchover (7 Amp at 240 Volts AC) to a cascadable 8 relay board allowing the control of up to 64 relays from one USB port.

  • ModuLAN® MFR-200 Fax Receiver allows Fax documents to be recieved from a telephone line and converts them to an email. This unique device allows users who have a well published Fax number, that is mainly used to receive faxes to divert those directly to their email account.

  • Embedded FollowMe for all new HP printers allows PIN access to printers managed through FollowMe™ Queue Server without any additional cost on the printer side.

  • Sentinel - Door Access Control systems (New offerings of faster network speeds, and quicker fingerprint processing and recognition provide a truly unique solution)

  • Sentinel - PC Access Control Systems uisng USB based HID readers, fingerprint and/or face biometrics PC access solutions.

  • 220-Volt to 277-Volt electronic ballast for fluorescent tubes. Energy saving devices were recently introduced by Ringdale. Fully electronic, dimmable and remote controllable ballast that helps to save 50% or more in fluorescent lighting applications upgrading existing light fittings to this new technology.

  • Ringdale's USB - HID devices allow the conversion of Wiegand, RS232, quadrature, swipe card and other digital or analog signals to be converted to be looking to a PC or other Ringdale equipment like a HID compatible USB device.

  • Sentinel range of Face Recognition and Fingerprint Recognition systems

  • Ethernet to Token Ring Monitor

  • Fast Ethernet In-Line Ethernet-to-Ethernet Print Release controller allows adding ID authentication at the printer, copier, fax or MFD without using up an additional IP address for already network connected output devices. Its unique "Shadowing" technology automatically takes on the identity of the printer's network connection without the need to configure the device.

    Additional capabilities include FIPS 140-2 decryption capability in the device allowing any network connected printer to receive encrypted data. This allows government and commercial organizations to enjoy security and using cost effective output devices.

    Smart Card readers, swipe card, RFID, Barcode, Fingerprint and other ID reader technologies can be simply connected to the device's USB ports.

    The device can support up to three readers simultaneously allowing it to be used for dual or triple factor authentication applications or to allow for one reader to be used to present the cost code, client code and the other to present the user's ID.
